Issue 4

The Spring Issue of Soil featured Russian model Sasha M on the cover, photographed by Jackie Zhang. The Stories were shot equally in London, New York and Spain, carrying on The Soil’s classic Black&White vibe with some color here and there. 

What are the circumstances that lead to particularly strong collaborative relationships? How are people impacted by the kinetic combustion of that first encounter with each other? And then what does the day-to-day exercise of that collaboration look and feel like as it grows over time? There were the ideas floating in my mind when Editor-in-chief David put this issue together.
